Description

This is my all time go to pasta recipe! This dish is jam packed with veggies and can be made with a variety of different meats or you can keep it entirely vegetarian. Shrimp, chicken, beef, sausage, chorizo the options are endless.

  1. Bring 8 cups of water to a boil then add 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp butter and four cups of pasta
  2. Once the pasta is fully cooked, set it aside and retain some of the pasta water
  3. Optional: To a hot pan add some oil and your meat of choice. Pan fry the meat with some spices until it’s fully cooked, then set aside 
  4. To a large wok, add oil and minced garlic and saute for a few minutes 
  5. Then add in some diced onion, bell pepper, mushrooms and broccoli 
  6. Add in salt, pepper, paprika or chilli powder and oregano, then stir fry until everything tenderizes 
  7. Add in tomato based pasta sauce and let it cook until it starts bubbling 
  8. Pour in heavy cream and let it cook for a few more minutes 
  9. Lastly, pour in the cooked pasta, ⅓ cup of the pasta water, the cooked meat, grated mozzarella, dried parsley flakes and stir together. Enjoy 🙂
