Using the right ingredients to make the marinade is the most important thing when trying to make authentic tandoori chicken. The marinade consists of a variety of spices that are mixed in yogurt to infuse the chicken with an impeccable flavor.

Tandoori Chicken Marinade:
Instructions
- 1. Cover and marinate chicken for 2-12 hours
- Preheat oven to 350F. Place an oven rack on a tray and place chicken on the rack. Save the remaining marinade. Roast for 20 minutes
- Brush on more of the marinade generously on both sides and flip sides and roast for 15 minutes
- Brush on more marinade and roast for 15 mins
- Spray with oil spray (or brush on oil) and roast for another 15 mins until crispy with some charred spots
- Plate with slices of lime and onion. Enjoy!
