  1. Add sugar to a pan on low heat and stir continuously
  2. Once the sugar is melted with a golden brown color add in the butter and continue stirring
  3. After the sugar mixture darkens add in the heavy cream and continue stirring
  4. Let the mixture thicken some more then add in your vanilla extract and pinch of salt
  5. Transfer to an air tight glass container and store in the fridge for up to 1 month
